Paul Furey founded the first manifestation of PEC in 1989 with the intention of providing a service to organisations and individuals hoping to change the way they did things interpersonally.
PEC’s early clients were very varied. They ranged from the long-term unemployed to the management team of Gleneagles, from sole-trader professionals who couldn’t bring themselves to negotiate to young high-flyers working their way up big company career ladders.
We achieve results and we think this is mainly because we stick to a few important principles:
You are listened to properly
Right the way through a project; it is at the core of our approach to solving human problems. We listen to pick up what you know and don’t know, we help you to uncover the core obstacles and to identify genuine, permanent solutions.
You don’t get fed old advice
We provide our expertise as psychologists, thinking partners and facilitators. We will help you to generate your own fresh ideas, crystalise and test out your own thinking, clarify your strategy and then we’ll stay whilst you implement it.
You only pay once
We charge our services by the project, not by the hour. In human projects there are always setbacks and delays in getting groups, and even individuals, in the right place and at the right time to work out and implement solutions. Whether there are minor or major setbacks, we stay with you until the job is done for one fixed fee that is set between us before the start of your project.
